Regulations
Flying by the rules is part of the job.
You don’t have to worry about it: I check whether each flight is feasible as soon as you get in touch, and any lead times are stated in the quote.
Open category
Most shoots are flown in the open category, outside restricted zones and away from people. Every location is checked on the official restriction maps.
Towns, airfields, protected sites
Built-up areas, airfield proximity or sensitive sites: I prepare the required steps (suitable scenario, authorisation, protocol) and tell you the lead times upfront.
Immersion, safely
FPV drones fly away from uninvolved people. For shots right in the action, the mission is organised with a secured perimeter and the appropriate regulatory framework.

Pricing, timing, weather…
How much does it cost?
Every project is quoted individually based on shoot length, location, gear and the post-production required. Quotes are free and with no commitment.
Where do you work?
Based on the Arcachon Bay, I work in Bordeaux, around the Bay, across Nouvelle-Aquitaine and anywhere in France. Travel costs are listed in the quote.
What if it rains or it’s too windy?
Safety comes first: if the weather doesn’t allow flying, we agree on a new date together. Rescheduling terms are set out in the quote.
Can you film in town or over people?
Some areas require prior steps with the authorities, and flying over crowds remains prohibited in most cases. I check feasibility as soon as you get in touch and suggest the best option.
How soon will I get the footage?
It depends on the project: a few days for rushes or photos, longer for an edited film. The exact timeline is set in the quote.
Are you insured?
Yes: missions are covered by professional drone liability insurance, and the certificate is attached to the quote.
Can I buy existing footage?
Yes, a selection of aerial shots is available for licensing on Pond5. For a specific location, I can shoot to order.
